The 'Love Potion No. 9' art Print is a collection of intricate drawings of popular perfume bottles.
It is a lovely print that accessorises a bathroom or bedroom beautifully.
I love this print. the print i recently drew for my cushions is similar to this but in a vintage style as i has drawn old perfume bottles and these are more up to date.
ROSA & CLARA DESIGNS
Browsing the internet for last minute research for my sketchbook i came across rosa & clara designs on notonthehighstreet.
http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/partners/rosaandclaradesigns/products
Inspired by an eclectic mix of
flea markets, architecture and mid-century design, Rosa & Clara Designs has
created a range of quirky, British-made homewares and paper goods. A new
business based in South London, Rosa & Clara Designs was launched by
Jessica Hayman after her daughters (Rosa and Clara, that is) inspired her to
leave behind her life as a lawyer and pursue her dream of immersing herself in
a world of pattern and design.
Each of Jessica's designs begins life as one of her hand drawn
illustrations. The lampshades, lavender birds, lavender butterflies and
Christmas decorations are handmade by Jessica. The paper goods are printed on
to FSC certified paper and card. As a firm believer in supporting British
industry, Jessica uses only British suppliers and manufacturers. Even the
lavender she uses hails from Yorkshire.
The design has a striped
background of white, pale green and pale blue, with vintage French perfume
bottles and toothpaste.

3D Botanical Cushions
Flicking through this months issue of Mollie Makes (Issue 40), these 3D botanical cushions caught my eye in the corner of a page. These cushions are made by Sabine Herrmann, i followed the website link to see more of her creations.

This is the cushion that was featured in the magazine.
"The succulent image is custom printed on cotton-canvas. On the back of the pillow, I've used beautiful, thick linen and a decorative stitch along the seam line to give it a personal touch."

Here are a few more cushions which i find really inspiring.

"The leaf image is custom printed on cotton-canvas. On the back of the pillow, I've used beautiful, thick linen and a decorative stitch along the seam line to give it a personal touch. Piping follows the stem of the leaf image on the front of the pillow which gives it a very sculptural feel."
This pine cone cushion is so realistic from the front angle, amazing!

I also really like her branding!

My neck piece that I have recently made is similar to these cushions as the petals on my lilies are made from photocopies of the actual petals which makes them seem lifelike.
