Parrots!

I found these brightly coloured decorative plates in the new arrivals section on anthropologie's website.

'Perfectly suited to vibrant garden parties and sun-soaked picnics, create a brightly-hued outdoor tabletop with these flora-and-fauna adorned plates.'

I thought the parrot design was similar to paperchase's new range 'zanzibar' which i seen in store the other day but after going to the paperchase website to look at the range again, they are not as similar as I first thought they were!

I love this range! It's really bold and exotic and i really like the vibrant, vivid colour scheme.

Great mix of colours!

Buttercups and Clover

buttercups and clover

'A scrumptious range combining beautiful hand stitched flowers, vintage papers, fabrics, patterned ribbons and braids. Cute stitched birds & dogs bring life to the designs and individual paper letters give a hand crafted look.

Shaped buttons, embroidered daisies and sparkly gems are used to hand finish the cards.'

I love this range. I found the range cards in paperchase whilst researching for my shop report. I love the mixture of prints creating a collage effect. I also like buttons used to embellish, the odd letters and the quirky little illustrations.

Some of my favourite designs are below.

Paperchase - Durham

For my report I have decided to do a shop report on paperchase. I went to the paperchase in Durham at the end of January. Here are some photographs i will be using within my report, taken a couple of weeks ago!
