3D Botanical Cushions

Flicking through this months issue of Mollie Makes (Issue 40), these 3D botanical cushions caught my eye in the corner of a page. These cushions are made by Sabine Herrmann, i followed the website link to see more of her creations.

This is the cushion that was featured in the magazine.
Spring Succulent pillow made to order
"The succulent image is custom printed on cotton-canvas. On the back of the pillow, I've used beautiful, thick linen and a decorative stitch along the seam line to give it a personal touch."

Here are a few more cushions which i find really inspiring.

Leaf pillow - made to order

"The leaf image is custom printed on cotton-canvas. On the back of the pillow, I've used beautiful, thick linen and a decorative stitch along the seam line to give it a personal touch. Piping follows the stem of the leaf image on the front of the pillow which gives it a very sculptural feel."

Pine cone pillow made to order
This pine cone cushion is so realistic from the front angle, amazing!

I also really like her branding!

My neck piece that I have recently made is similar to these cushions as the petals on my lilies are made from photocopies of the actual petals which makes them seem lifelike.

Anthropolgie Perfume

http://www.anthropologie.eu/anthro/product/gifts-birthday/7550462990009.jsp?color=102

While i was browsing the gift section on the anthropolgie website, these bottles of perfume caught my eye.
I do buy a lot of perfume but i would probably buy one of these purely because of the nice packaging designs! They have really nice colours and prints and they are a bit more unique and quirky than your normal perfume packaging.
I think the packaging on a product makes a huge difference when a selling a product.
I also think these would make great gifts!

Soap Packaging

http://www.wgsn.com/content/report/HBL/Trend_Analysis/2014/March/beautiful-soaps--portugal.html

Scrolling through the WGSN website this soap packaging caught my eye. The labels remind me of the labels on the vintage perfume bottles I have been looking at for my current project. They are really decorative and colourful.

'Portugal is known for its beautifully wrapped traditional soaps. Packaging is covered in pretty floral motifs, vintage prints and old-fashioned letterings, lending soaps an air of charming desuetude.'

Swing tags with my new branding, I love them so much! / © emma lamb

I like the simplicity of these swing tags and the touch of pattern folded at the top. I think less is more, and the colours make the label look vintage yet the pattern adds a contemporary touch.

Stacy Kokes photography branded pieces designed by Emma Robertson

This is totally what a photography business or any business should have when delivering product to a client. This woman is my hero! How cute to receive this amazing gift when your photographer has completed a session. AMAZING!

Love the idea of doing a creative business card like this but, not sure if it is in the budget right now.

super cute idea to put the roses in the middle of the antlers. I wonder if you could do something else there?
