Embroidered Wall Art

I went to Kiwi Trading looking for old mirrors and picture frames to transform them into a series of embroidered wall art pieces. The first thing I found when walking in was this!

It cost me £7!

I think it looks similar to the mirrors that were used on carousel rides.

Struggling...

 

I'm not getting into this project as much as I thought I would. I have a had very slow start even after having so many crits!!!!

 After every crit I have changed my mind about my concept/theme, I'm not sure whether they have helped or hindered me.

I have collected some primary sources to create some 3D paper drawings, a rose (the enchanted rose from beauty and the beast) and an apple (snow whites poisonous apple).

Animal Stole

 

Here are some pictures of my finished product, a seahorse animal stole.

The brief was to create an animal stole choosing an animal of my choice. I chose to go for a slightly more unusually animal rather than going for the obvious animal stole choices such as a fox, a badger etc..
